about joe tobler
Joe Tobler is the Managing Partner who focuses on defending clients facing serious felony charges. He works closely with people during some of the most difficult moments in their lives, helping them understand what is happening and building a strong path forward. He also plays a key role in supporting the attorneys on his team and helping them grow.
Joe is known for being thorough and responsible in how he handles cases. Clients count on him to take the lead on complex situations and to develop a clear plan once all the details are in place. He works with attorneys, paralegals, and staff across the firm, and he is especially skilled when it comes to handling high-stakes cases.
Before joining the firm, Joe worked at a large private defense firm and spent time handling death penalty homicide cases. He also completed training at the Clarence Darrow Death Penalty Defense College and in the Colorado Method of jury selection for homicide cases.
Outside of work, he enjoys paddleboarding, hiking, biking, and spending time with his family.
