Introducing Rebecca Montoya, a seasoned criminal defense attorney. Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rebecca brings a unique perspective and a fierce dedication to fighting for her clients’ rights.

Rebecca’s path to becoming a passionate advocate for justice began at the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, where she earned her law degree. During her time in law school, Rebecca’s exceptional skills and commitment to criminal law were recognized with the Arizona State Bar Criminal Justice Section’s Future Practitioner Award. She was also selected for the prestigious Order of the Barristers honor society, a testament to her outstanding oral advocacy and brief-writing abilities.

Prior to joining GCLG, Rebecca served as a Public Defender with the Maricopa County Office of the Public Defender. In this role, she gained extensive experience representing clients facing a wide range of criminal charges, from misdemeanors to serious felonies. Rebecca’s tireless work ethic, coupled with her ability to build strong, positive relationships with all parties involved in a case, has earned her a reputation as a formidable advocate for her clients.

Rebecca’s approach to criminal defense is both results-driven and compassionate. She understands that facing criminal charges can be an overwhelming and emotionally charged experience, and she is dedicated to providing her clients with the support and guidance they need every step of the way.
